The space
Discover serenity at Girraween Rural Retreat—a self-contained cabin
in the heart of the countryside, that has a private front yard and an
open-plan design with bright and breezy front and rear decks. Just 30m
from the cabin is a swimming pool for guest use, while the owners who
live at this vast property can show you around the bush tracks.
Timber-like flooring and modern appliances are complemented by large
windows that frame the space; while stunning outdoor decks offer
expansive views of the lush greenery and the garden. Enjoy a kitchen
that is fully equipped with premium appliances including a gas stove,
full-sized fridge, large oven, and coffee machine. You can opt to use
the BBQ located on the outdoor deck. You also have a choice to dine
indoors or stay outdoors on the two private decks, offering bar-top
seating facing the garden or a comfortable lounge. A daybed on the front
deck completes your outdoor comfort, while a fire pit provides the
perfect spot to cosy up under the stars in the coolness of the morning
and evenings in the dry season.
Inside you’ll find a living room with a two-person leather couch sitting
opposite a flat-screen TV. The bedroom has black-out blinds, built-in
cupboards and a plush queen bed. There is direct access to the outdoor
rear deck, providing an alternative private space and a view of lush
greenery through the bedroom’s glass door. A spacious bathroom features a
generous shower and a large vanity.
Additions include undercover parking, wi-fi, air conditioning, a Bluetooth speaker, washing machine and an access ramp.
Guest access
During your stay, you will have the entire cabin to yourself. Please make yourself at home!
You’ll be sharing the property with the owners who stay in the main
house. They are happy to show you around the property’s bush track,
explain the local bush life and introduce you to their gorgeous
domesticated dingoes. The owner also offers photography tips being a
professional photographer.

Please read and respect the house rules. This is very much appreciated, thank you! Before your arrival, we will also share a house guide that contains instructions on how to access the property, use certain appliances, and anything else you may need to know. A comprehensive introductory compendium is provided within the retreat as well as a booklet containing all instructions for appliances. A 26-litre esky, insulated water container and camping chairs are there to enjoy.
